## 1. About This Service

TrueConnect+ provides software that allows churches and ministries to send operational SMS notifications to parents and approved guardians regarding their child's participation in the church's children's ministry program.

When a child in care needs their parent or pre-approved guardian — for illness, behavioral concerns, or routine pickup — a staff member at the church initiates a brief SMS notification through TrueConnect+ asking the guardian to come to the check-in area.

## 2. How Consent Is Collected

Consent for SMS messages is collected inside the TrueConnect+ application:

- A parent registers their child with a participating church.
- The parent then adds one or more approved guardians for their child via the "Approved Guardians" screen.
- At the time a guardian is added, the parent confirms that the guardian has agreed to receive operational SMS notifications from the church regarding pickup, emergencies, or other matters concerning that specific child.
- Consent is per-child, per-guardian, and is managed by the parent.

If you are listed as an approved guardian and did not consent to receive these messages, please ask the parent to remove you from the child's approved guardian list, or reply STOP to opt out directly.

## 3. What You Will Receive

You will receive brief operational messages from the church when a child for whom you are listed as an approved guardian needs you. A typical message reads:

> "[Child's name] needs you in [Room name]. Please come to the check-in area."

Message frequency varies and depends on the church's schedule and the needs of the child. You will only receive messages during the times the child is in the church's care.

Standard message and data rates from your mobile carrier may apply.

## 4. Opt-Out

Reply **STOP** to any message at any time to opt out. You will receive a single confirmation message, and no further messages will be sent to your number.

If you change your mind, reply **START** to resume receiving messages, or contact the church directly to be re-added to the approved guardian list.

## 5. Help

Reply **HELP** to any message to receive contact information for the sending church and a link to these terms.

## 6. Supported Carriers

This service is supported on all major U.S. mobile carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

## 7. Privacy

Phone numbers provided for this service are stored only for the purpose of sending these operational notifications. They are not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
